I didn't have time to finish it off but, here was my general idea.
1. still have porting to allow less air in front of the ball... (not sure how this will work but, it's the concept idea)
2. porting to some degree may baffel it aka make it not as loud (again, not sure if it will less quite than a solid tube but, its a concept idea)
3. screws right on a 14" stella front... didnt model threads yet or the oring it would use to sit on th back area of the front but...again its all concept.
Hope to work some more on it tomorrow
mine works amazingly well on my insight....ill get some pics tomorrow, my rotary table showed up today so I'm off to throw some chips :)
what happened to these pics? any video?
Styg
(I apologize if this idea exists already I was too lazy to look through the thread) What if there was a tactical shroud that slid over the entire barrel and screwed onto the tip?
On page one theres a rendering.......

Yeah but that's just a tip I meant like a shroud that covers the whole barrel.

Like this. So it DOES EXIST!
To add to this, I got to try out this tip at Legends this year. It does not affect the ball's flight, and its sound is just about on par with my Birdcage tip, which is a tad quieter (I think) than my 14" Arrowhead. That, and it sure does draw attention!

Been sooooo busy...never had a chance to get back to this....
I will have to ask Simon what the thread a pitch was for the back again
