Serial numbers can be useful for tracking down little changes that may help service markers many years in the future. Things like "When did they start using that spring that is 1 mm longer than the old one?" "From serial number 3000 and up." So they have a use.

I understand they are not worth the headaches in a small operation, Simon, but doing them in binary is so funny I would say they will be if you do that. Totally worth it.

I meant body, as in the receiver, and used frame by mistake... Sometimes my nomenclature gets mixed up.

I would buy a Kryptonite frame though, hands down. Same with the front grip... something 'facety' has to be done with that thing.

I suppose if I were to make enough jigs I could manually mill some....

I'm probably going to pull the trigger on a Tacticool. Not necessarily b/c of the rails or anything, but these bodies are hard to come by and sometimes you just need to snap them up when you see them.

Agreed, they are hard to come by. I have to fight myself not to pick up the tacticool!
