Spent last night at a concert, saw The Struts. Pretty epic classic style British punk/glam rock band. Look 'em up on YouTube, they're good. And the people watching seriously could not be beat. We hung out at the back of the room giving everyone nicknames (we saw Jesus, Tactical Todd the bouncer, grown-up Beavis and Butthead, among others), and laughing at everyone. Good times.

I now know what it takes to put together a Inception Designs 86 pivot frame with autotrigger. Good times

So, I posted this earlier, not sure what happened...

I'm not here to brag too much, but damn does it feel good to win Formula Hybrid. We busted ass and put together quite literally a multi-award winning car. FCA award for Industrial design, GM award for power train, and a memorial award for chassis/suspension design as we're using outboard shocks with a pneumatic anti-roll system instead of a traditional torsion bar and the judges felt the guy in memoriam would have LOVED it, plus talking to the suspension lead, you can really tell he knows his stuff.

First time we actually got the car there, we were kinda worried we wouldn't be ready... Then find out we were the most prepared car there this year and wound up doing really well.

    Anyways, here's the car:

    congrats!

i enjoyed my time in formula SAE, but really i like driving them more than building them.

finally got the 944 out on track, not bad for a 30 year old girl:

social conservatism: the mortal fear that someone, somewhere, might be having fun.

Congratulations. Considering I donated to your Crowdfunding campaign I hope that I get 1/10000000th of the credit for this achievement.
