Yeah, doesn't look like I will make it either.

We put 2000 miles on the van. Kinda freaked out the sales guy. 2000 miles in 2 days is a bit much.

We DID get to meet Andy in person and go through the shop. That was pretty awesome.

    We did see this:

It wasn't running at the time, but we did get to see it.

Does that thing automatically acquire targets? Or is it hard-coded in?

Andy's reply to one of the questions:
@tsdoom32x there's a series of defined search zones where a camera captures an image, then converts it to a binary system so the computer can try to find objects that match the "target" template. I still haven't accounted for range though.

Yep... her sisters kids have all been a week early. She herself was a month early. I was a week late. Nursery is ready, kid has insane amount of clothes... and his best friend and protector is in training.

The back end of opticks is python and C++... it's an open source program that can be used for cool stuff.

I know I'll never be able to afford it, but it looks like a seriously nice bike. I saw one at a bike fest last weekend and I'm pretty sure there have only been a few dozen made. On a slightly related note, my Harley has now passed 10k miles.
