I always called it a "singing frog" problem.
That's disruptive as hell
samsung is super scary in general because of there vertical integration.

Jesus... I thought that SSD prices were coming down already. If they are able to get the process cheap enough, SSD prices are going to plummet. I wonder if they are using an entirely new architecture or still using their TLC/VNAND stuff in there. Wonder what the durability/MTBF is on one of those.
I really want to update all of my machines to SSD but don't want to have to deal with re-installing all my software etc.
I have to say, extremely worth it. My computer turns on in about 8 seconds. Speaking of which, it's probably about time for me to bump up from 128 GB... I try to keep that drive clean, but at this point it's cheap enough to go bigger anyway.
I'd do it with your primary CAD machine at least, although you'll probably want to do it for everything after that.
