He would annually do a trip for bone digging when he was running AGD - still does. His new thing was using lasers to fluoresce dinosaur fossils. The technology did so well that the Chinese government flew him, his team and his equipment over to work on their feathered dinosaur fossils.
It's actually pretty cool stuff.
