    Sizing paint to barrel question

    So he is saying that the common test of being able to blow the paintball through the barrel is not good, right? Its better to underbore which would mean that you cant blow it through but you can push it through with your finger? So you want to go just tight enough so that the majority of the balls you cant blow through, but not any tighter then that right?

    More or less, yes. Alternately, you can size such that everything will go through without obstruction. Either way will give you better consistency, but the underbore also tends to give you better velocity and efficiency. Underbore too much, though, and there's some data that says the paint will start to have a wider spread.

    i blow test some balls through my backs, and then go .003-.005 smaller than the blow test on the bore size. ie if i blow test at .685, ill go through my bag looking for a .682-.680. screw it on, and shoot it.
