Question regarding the X-Mag

I've seen this bump where the sear pin is hiding in the body on a bunch of X-Mags, including the one I've owned. I have trouble spotting it in the production photos so I'm just wondering if this was actually in the design or is it from owners cranking down on that pin when assembling their guns?

I never had that on my Xmag... Mine was smooth.

It's not supposed to be there. Most likely from an overdeep hole and/or as you say someone cranking on the sear pin.
