I started at a new firm last fall.
I?m the youngest employee by 10+ years, at 36.
Boss is 73. Next in command pushing 70. Rest are 50s+. 8 people in total.
I?m supposed to be learning the ropes to let the boss step back into semi retirement over the next few years...
It hasn?t really materialized at all yet.
But that?s ok, the office is laid back, everyone I work with is damn good and we collaborate. I make the best pay of my life drawing palatial homes and don?t have to deal with project management of shitty builders on top of it.
Now if only the boss would remember why he hired me and not act surprised that this ?millennial? knows things... lol
