Well, besides the fact it's still wide angle.
... You can reduce the angle...
By how much though? I've been avoiding action cams because they typically don't go below 90 degrees without third party lenses which typically aren't built for paintball hits.
I was all excited about the Hero4 Session untill I read that it doesn't have removable batteries. I am still on the hunt for something tiny and sleek like the Contour but with a removable battery.
I have been leaning towards the new Garmin VIBR XE myself... seems like a good alternative.
I hate how GoPro and apparently that Garmin VIBR XE state their FoV as abstract description instead of actual degree.. it doesn't really tell anything and makes comparison that much harder.
I hate how GoPro threatens to sue people for negative reviews.
If the replay XD had wifi and a nice tight FOV (ie adjustable down to 45 or something) I'd be all over it... but alas.
Right now the only way to get the features I want in an action camera is to speed endless moneys on a blackmagic micro... and that can't take hits :(
Prime X has wifi (at least for iOS/android app). Adjustability stops to 70 degrees though. I guess you could get to that by external lenses

a nice cheap alternative to the session is the Polaroid cube + (has wifi and better camera) only $150! Looks like gopro copied the original cube with the session anyway!

Would be nicer to have some more mounts available for it though
