Yeah, if you can, post a patch or a link to the code. I'll try and check it out this week and figure out how to give you access to commit changes on github.
Sorry I haven't been around lately....

Just checking in. I've had a couple people who are interested in this project get a hold of me lately, so I thought I'd bring some life back to this thread. I haven't had any time to spend on this in...
I love the Redline board. Going between tournaments and recball is a lot easier with a simple screen to see what mode I'm in and simple controls to change it. I'm too lazy to remember blinking lights...
The aluminum tip definitely sounds quieter than the whip tip to me. I'm not able to quantify the difference in any way, it's just my perception of it.
That'd be pretty damn fantastic. I'll shoot you a message.
And thanks! The little guy is just about 6 months old now, so we're actually getting sleep again. :)
Yeah, I'm not so good with schematics. I was trying to teach myself how to do those while I was working on this. I know code a lot better than electronics, so the hardware side of things definitely...
Nice. Did you do this design for them also?
Thanks!
Not currently. I had a kid in October and that's kept me pretty damn busy. I may get back to tinkering with this next year sometime.
No, this is a great Insight video ;)

Ideally, I'd have loved to use Jamie's PaintDuino board as a reference design for my code, but he hasn't posted any updates about that.
Awesome!
Sorry it took so long to respond. I've been super busy preparing for our first child, who's due in the next couple of weeks. I'm taking a hiatus on this project for a while. Hopefully...
Would the command line tool be capable of uploading settings to the board like the windows GUI tool will be? If so, maybe I could take a shot at whipping up a GUI front-end for it.
Ah, yeah. I was just thinking if you had to add something to the bootloader in the future, it sounded like it wasn't going to be able to be updated unless you physically reprogrammed the chip.
...
What happens if you need to update the bootloader?
Nice!
I will eventually be moving to a CC license for GCode also. I'm just more familiar with GPL and traditional open source / free software licenses.
Even with the GPL, someone could take your code/design, modify it and sell it and make money. They just have to provide the source code also.
Creative Commons may have a license more suitable if...
I've been fairly silent for a while now. Things have been busy in my personal life with a baby on the way, and I haven't had time to spend working on any of these projects lately. I'm hoping I'll...
Hmm... I'd been thinking about adding a "pump" mode to GCode, but my idea was to have the user "pump" the gun by holding the trigger down a certain amount of time before it would shoot, and either...
Tweaked some cookie settings. Could you please try logging out and back in again and see if the problem is fixed?
Whoa... That's really cool. I am curious how these buses (RNA, 1-Wire, I2C, etc.) work. I haven't played around with anything like that yet.
Sorry, I was away all weekend. This is the one I'm using: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?KeyWords=BUK9840-55 Although it seems like they're not available now.

I use emacs at work primarily. Old habits die hard.
