No hints, when you see the screenshot you will lose your mind

I can certainly do something more professional in terms of a drawing. That was the 5 minute lunch break method. Let me know if you want some cleaner drawings once the updated iges files are available.

Ignorant question, but will those buttons see some sort of regulated board voltage or will they see battery voltage? Some can handle E-mag voltages some can't...

Hmm.. well that middle one will be handling some sizable voltages with respect to ground, but the actual potential across the switch will be low, on the order of a few volts max. I think.. but even if they aren't, the currents those switches deal with are microscopic, barely micro-amps even, and for extremely short durations. I can't imagine any physical switch having difficulty with it, regardless of their rating.. yeah here we go:

10 ľA 2 Vdc to 20 mA 15 Vdc (Resistive load)

Okay so that means that if you drop 15volts across it, it will sink 20ma of current, that is quite a lot, and the switch will heat up! but that is not a "voltage rating", it's more of a power consideration. In the place I'm using them they might see a very brief 20v voltage, but since there are large resistors in series with it, the current (Kirchoff's loop rule) will be super-tiny and not exceed the switch's capacity, not even come close actually.

How do I get the .brd files open with Eagle? I'm not familiar with it at all and google isn't much help.

    Eagle cad: http://www.cadsoftusa.com/?CMP=KNC-G-COMM-PCB

install the free version then "open->board"

Thanks. The issue for me was that the .brd files wouldn't download, so I had to right click the url and do "Save Link As" to get the files on my computer.

Had some time, finished up the button board.

Did all the traces too, so they show up. Was interesting doing those, took a decent amount of time.
