System X double hinges are fairly short.
Also, I think its just a thing that every cocker user shoots with their middle finger... Unless I'm shooting lefty. Lol.
I prefer the hinge frame, but the height is a problem. Making a short hinge isn't that easy, without some engineering.
Sliders, after a while, tended to get finicky from our experience. Mind you, old school sliders. As in a couple hard years of use of use. Back in the mid 90's getting a slider nice and smooth, and timed, normally meant some extra screws, a new trigger, a better sear, polishing and some tuning. We got good at it, but I found the hinge to be drop in good enough, short of lack of a trigger spring tension adjustment on most of them.
Right now I would put on a 1.5 trigger - since I really just shoot middle finger due to old school mag double finger being my real first 'play all the time gun', so my opinion is crap and I know it.

Not to bad, but I bet a bit taller then we need to do an 'electo' with...:
That's taller than mine. Stand by for pic.
Now, this is nice, from the best tinker go to site:

100psi operation, should drop in.

That's mine... it's *eyeballs with eblade* Damn near close to eblade (in terms of height from body to trigger)
also, I'm still confused as to which route has been decided to go?
edit - hasn't been cleaned since play on the weekend... life kind of got in the way

I'm unsure as to what direction we were talking as well. I think we can make the frame as short as any electronic frame if we want to. We just need to have a firm idea as to what this will be compatible with as far as solenoids go. Eblade clapper? Electro pnuematic ? Or race type of solenoids? Or all?
And boards as well. eblade? Gcode or DNA?
Nice - yeah, I remember that frame.
I think if you can figure the operation, and leave space, the board/'noid(or solenoidvalve)/battery figures itself out at the end user DIY style. Leave room for all.
