    Feedneck Dimensions

    Hello everyone,

Just a quick question about feednecks. I'm curious about a few dimensions.

    1.) Uncompressed diameter
    2.) Compressed/clamped diameter/circumference/compression/whatever
3.) The distance from the bottom of the edge the hopper sits on to the top of the feedneck.

Since there are so many hoppers out there it'd be great to get some dimensions that should work for all of them. I think I've measured my SP feednecks to have an ID of ~26.75mm and depth of ~18.80mm, those are the numbers I've been working from but confirmation (from the loader expert) would be great.

Not sure how much help this will be, but I'm pretty sure Halo necks are 1.050 and are the largest I've ever seen. Anything under that should fit in anything.

Yep. 1.045-1.05" at the bottom is our tolerance for Z2 and any new hoppers and then a slight draft (at most 1* but usually less) as they go up. Some older VL's (VL have varied immensely in size over the years, are as small as 1.02"

The latest feednecks I've been making are 0.9" deep where they receive the hopper.
