    Nice

Cant go wrong with a 45, imo they are the quintessential handgun cartridge

And 1911's should be in everyones arsenal

I couldn't see myself shooting a 1911 anywhere but the range. It may be fun to knock down some pins but for me it wouldn't have any useful purpose to justify any expense.

    I've actually carried a GI model 1911

I have a really nice wish list and wasn't looking for another 1911 but I couldn't pass up this deal

I have a lot of time carrying the 1911, but never concealed. I don't know that I'm physically large enough to conceal my Para these days. When I start carrying concealed, I'll probably have to get something more compact. Definitely keeping the Para, though.

    My FS2000:

    I've got a ZK-22 that I'm building but, I'll show it once it's done.

Finally, I've got a couple of XD(m)s (9mm and .40) that are Plain Jane.

    I weight 125 @ 5.10. I can conceal a M&P Shield in summer workout cloth.

It looks cool but, I must admit, it feels like I'm holding a tuna (It's got some thickness to it) :P

I'm presently torn between drooling over the IWI Tavor, the Desert Tech MDR, and to a lessor extent the Kel-Tec RDB. I like downward ejecting like the RDB over forward or side ejecting. However, Kel-Tecs haven't been the most consistently reliable performers.
