Thread: Lets see some firearms

  1. #11
    Taurus PT-1911
    Good solid shooter

    Ruger SR-556FB
    Piston AR, Heavy but reliable

    Springfield XD-s 45
Daily CCW. Accurate, small, manageable recoil with 165gr Hydra-Shok's, makes big holes in things. Not much more you could ask for in a CCW.

At the folks house I have a Rem 700 in 243, a Savage over-under 22/20ga combo (super fun open sights gun for squirrel hunting), a 50 cal Hawken Muzzle loader, Remington 22lr Pump, and an old 12ga pump, been a while since I shot it, might be a Remington as my old man was rather fond of them. The folks and I aren't exactly on speaking terms so it might be a while til I see my guns over there again....

Did you have to send your XDS in for the recall? They have my xds9 right now, hopefully I get it back before the new year.

I'll try to get a pick of some of my daily carry setups along with some of my other guns.

any of you guys ever shoot liberty ammo?

my friend got ahold of a box of liberty 9mm hallow points meant specifically for military and law enforcement

probably the hallowest hallowpoints I have ever seen hahaha, its genuinely as if the bullet is simply a shell with a hole in the front of it, they are crazy hot, his m&p shield was louder than my R1 at the range last time

I've got a few firearms, but this is my favorite. Sadly I was so busy this summer that I only got out to the range a couple of times, but I hope to remedy that in the spring.

I haven't had a chance to get it sent in yet, although with the amount of rounds put thru it I am skeptical that mine has any issues. That and they just the other day figured out a solution for it and are doing them on a first come, first serve basis. I'm most likely going to wait til it dies down some in the next few months and send it in. That combined with the stupid cold PA winter means heavier clothing so carrying my 1911 won't be as big of an issue.

I have seen liberty ammo before but never shot it. From what I was reading on it, it might be a little high on the over penetration and going to be near impossible to get in the future. Heck midway has it on closeout right now if you want to stock up on it.

Yeah I'm aware of their shipping situation. Definitely the last time I will every buy a SA gun. The way they handled this situation has been piss poor. They told everyone 30 days after they receive it but failed to mention that they did not know, or have a solution for the problem until after the first 30 days.

Kyle; what kind of rifle is that? Accuracy International something or other? Looks like an L96 almost, very nice though regardless!

I know AI makes stocks that you can drop remington 700 uppers into (looks like yours kyle), was actually thinking about doing that myself for a little while.

You got it, it's a Remington 700 in an AICS.
