    Surprised that we hadn't mentioned Aurora anodizing. Saw this on Facebook this morning.

    The Aurora finish never really did anything for me. I've seen how crappy it can look after a few years. It's much like laser, looks cool at first and over time meh...That one looks good tho...

    I get the overall idea as to how anodizing works, and can figure out how you do a fade or splash. Hell, even get acid washing.

    How does one do a color scheme like this?!

    From what I remember from Tinker's Guild discussion and speculation, is that the chances of permanently destroying parts with this process is VERY high.

    So long ago... wonder if its still in the archives?
