    Karnivore

I was looking for a pump project and found this Karni for sale for $120
The seller said that the board was fried and there were some internal issues and leaks.
For the price, I could not lose, so I took the plunge and bought it.
Once it arrived I opened it up and found that one of the battery terminals was lose.I re soldered it and gave the gun a complete overhaul and service.
I put in a fresh copper top, turned her on and gassed her up.
After a little bit of fine tuning she now runs like an absolute dream.Certainly on the the flattest shots that I have ever experienced.
    What an absolute beauty.

That's awesome! I currently have two karnivors, ones a real custom (while still full bodied) one, the other has all original pieces, yet currently has Mech parts on it.

Worst part about the Karnivor as a pump is the pump kits... The only known supplier of them currently has them for $180 last I checked.

    Same here. I feel you.

The best deal I did was buy a gearbag for $300 and sell one of the guns for $400 out of it. But that gun wasn't nearly worth $400. Sometimes you find the right buyer.

    Sooooo hating you right now...

My best catch was a Mini about 4 years ago. Picked it up for $30 plus a few cases of paint I had because I was working at a local field. I took it apart and found a bent pin on the control board. put it back together with some fresh lube and it worked perfectly until I sold it for $130.

That is an awesome deal. It's amazing sometimes how people sell things off that are "broken" and it's just some maintenance or something small that is needed to fix them.

I believe Vitalsilence has his frontblock for $120. Granted, it's not a full pump kit.
