If I wanted to do a raw polished Kryptonite body can this be accomplished with Mothers Billet polish or will it involve the body needing further machine polishing first ?
Its hard to tell from pics, body looks very dull looking like it might need more work than just Mothers to get it shiny.

You could do it by hand and with mothers polish. It's tumble polished from me so it is smooth, but needs the shine putting on it.
A better way is with a polishing/buffing wheel, but really unless you are experienced it's hard to do a great job. It's also very dirty and messy.
If you do want to do it yourself and by hand, test out your process first.
Ok thats the answer then.
I ended up with a nice grey and silver Axe in a trade for free.
I'll just look for a cheap dust black Axe and get a black body, and sell the grey Axe I guess.
I didnt care for the Mini at all, but I've really taken a shine to the Axe for some reason.
Thanks

Allen, talk to BigEvil, he has his black body from when he put on a his Inception body on his Axe.
yeah, whatever. you do your own thing.
no problem, i did misunderstand.
OK so I picked up a dust black Axe, I'll just sell the grey/silver Axe.
Does the black Kryptonite body match the anno of the dust black Axe (I hope) ?
Also is there a youtube showing how to change a body ?

It doesn't match exactly, as the original axe parts are anodized over in Taiwan and mine are done in the USA, but the result looks good together. My finish is more of a military flat black (it's used on a lot of real firearms parts that are anodized at the same location).
I have tech videos on youtube from when I worked at KEE that should help you.
The important things to remember are the gasket/manifold and the little white check valve. Everything else is quite straight forward.
