    Makerspace

    Does anyone have one of these nearby? Have you been to/used it?

    There's one in my town here, their metal shop is somewhat limited, but they have a bunch of other stuff and I kinda like the concept.

    I have been thinking of setting something like that up here.

    I have a 3D printer and Laser, plus a small mill and lathe to put into it.

    You should do it. It will be interesting to see if we go back to the "golden age" where everyone modified their markets, I think these makerspaces help mitigate initial costs for tools etc; quick in turn lowers modifying cost and end user cost if marker is sold.

    I'm actually wanting to use it to finish my karni build - I need to make a new frame-body screw hole in an LCD frame, and also wanting to make a. Eblade wire slot in that frame. Single electro FTW.

    Awesome. Ive been reading up on the one in bg me in Milwaukee, looks like I may have to take a visit. Be nice to have access to.better tools without a huge capital investment.
