There was a bit where they put one in a press and hit 20 tons before destruction. It dented the press head and steel landing.

I stupidly bought a 1050 Ti for my girlfriend's hackintosh

Yeah, Nvidia doesn't have a mac/unix driver for the Pascal boards yet...

don't feel too bad, just finished watching the live stream, they did not announce the 1080 Ti

instead, he spent about an hour and a half talking about how Nvidia's new market is self-driving cars

but he did talk about a cloud based subscription service that Mac and low end pc users can utilize to play games if they want, for the low price of $25/20 hours

Great, now they have a disincentive to publish Mac drivers.

Simon, when did you guys fix the avatars? I noticed they were back in one piece a few weeks ago

Didn't change anything. The beauty of VBulletin, it breaks and fixes (sometimes) itself.

about 3 times a week, every week i get the stink up my butt "im just going to buy a corvette"

and then i log onto tirerack and go "jesus, i should never, ever, run a corvette"

i could seriously run my mr2 on hoosiers all day, every day, and it would still be cheaper than running a street tired corvette. and faster. 15 inch wheels/tires are simply the best.
