    What you might be looking for is the 'Worker Participation' numbers:



    Unemployment #'s are a number of people collecting unemployment, not really a number of people unemployed.

    Note, out of 124 or so million households in the US.

    Sorry to disappoint, but it wasn't entirely obvious to me. I haven't been following the US unemployment situation at all as my country has other issues that I've been interested in, like the royally fucked housing market in places like Greater Vancouver and Toronto.
