Hmmm, z06 spec'd corvettes and ACR vipers race on the same circut, so price has nothing to do with it. Generally its engine size and whether its forced induction or naturally aspiration. Come 9n boy racer, you should know that.

I do tend to think, with the small truck* sizing, the Dakota turned it into a dick measuring contest. "Ooooh, we have the biggest little pickup truck on the market!" sort of thing. Frankly, Dodge never had a true small pickup unless you count the Ram 50. The Dakota was a mid-range truck not in the same category as the Ranger and S10/Sonoma.

    * It's true of all vehicles, though, not just the small trucks. Today's F-150 is noticeably longer than the F-150 of prior years. That's how they can make the rear seat room best in class. And it is, it's seriously impressive, but for a SuperCrew full 4 door truck with a 6.5' box, it's freaking huge. It's a difficult truck to maneuver around our service area.

I've never seen a Ford with more rear seat room than a Toyota or a Dodge megacab. How do they disqualify those and claim best in class?

    Bolded Half-ton Class Largest

Leg room - Rear - 43.6 in. (tie)
    Front Hip Room 62.5
    Rear Hip Room 64.7
    Front Head Room 40.8
    Rear Head Room 40.4

    Tundra: http://www.toyota.com/tundra/feature...8240/8252/8275
    Front Leg Room 42.5
    Rear Leg Room 43.6 (tie)
    Front Hip Room 62.6
    Rear Hip Room 62.6
    Front Head Room39.7
    Rear Head Room 38.9

    Ram 1500: http://www.ramtrucks.com/model-compa...&variation=1,3
    Front Leg Room 41
    Rear Leg Room 40.3
    Front Hip Room 63.2
    Rear Hip Room 63.2

Ram 2500 Mega Cab differences (rear seat only)
    Rear head room 40.3

Ram 2500 does not compete directly with F150. Tundra is not bigger than F150 in any dimension except front hip room.

Wow, I didn't realize fords were that big. The long cab on the tundra looks much longer than fords.
