Leave Will out of this!like most political problems, its a problem of will, not actual policy.
I disagree completely - it is a problem of math, sacred totems, irrational positions and issues with our mother.

Thanks Steve for starting an OT Politics thread... that way I can stay out of there. (Except for once.)

So out of curiosity, when do people in here buy their guns? Christmas? March? Spring? Mid summer?
I ask for the sake of high-budget market research.

You can look to the winter as the new gun for the season mantra.might be around christmas, might be later closer towards the spring when you start to get tax returns back. In the sprong, friends and events can push the "need" of needing a new gun, as friends show off new purchases or you just get that hands on feeling that pushes the person over. Me personally, it is always a matter when i have money versus not. So i do not follow any set time.
If someone has some numbers, i would love to see them. Just because of what it will show.
Yeah I kind of expect tax return season to be a big one. I think for a lot of people it'd be a pretty big christmas gift.

Around my area a few weeks before hunting season and I see guns flying off the shelf. Whenever a politician talks about, or puts a bill forward that could ban something firearm related, seems to also be a big sales time. I personally buy parts and accesories I need around black friday, no guns though. Guns I purchase whenever I decide I want one, and save up for it, not season specific (I'm single and have no kids). I do usually tend to look at guns more during the spring, when it starts to get nice out. The range I use is an outdoor range and really use it more during the spring and summer.
