    Gordon, did you go fully-fat (4-inch plus tires) or did you try it out with a Plus bike (2.8 to 3.2 inch tires)? I think I'd be happy to ride a Plus in every season.

    yeah a plus would be nice in almost any season, but no, i was on a full fat bike. in the summer up there i'd have taken a plus, but for winter riding the fat bike was the way to go.

    Just dug my mountain bike out of the shed and had it tuned up.

    Trying to get the nerve to get off the sidewalk and go to this place half hour drive away:
