I wonder if it'll still have the V12 or if it'll have the AMG powerplant instead.

Same one that's in the Jag XKR if I'm not mistaken. I wonder if they'll go down the dual turbo route?

Goofy Lightsaber aside I'm pretty stoked for the new Star Wars movie. Abram's style was a little off for Star Trek but it's right on for Star Wars, IMO.

    New Terminator movie:

It's scary how similar Amelia and Linda sound as Sarah Connor.

I think JJ did a great job with star trek

I have watched interviews where he talks about star wars and he clearly has a passion for it. So I am pretty hopeful that the new star wars will be good.

I didn't mean to imply he didn't do a good job, it was just a pretty big departure from the traditional Star Trek feel. It will be interesting to see where they take the franchise now that a new Universe has been established.

Edit: that Terminator movie looks like a timeline clusterfuck.

The whole alternate timeline thing is usually a cop-out for a bad story, but JJ did quite a good job explaining it and it's plausible if for no other reason than Leonard Nimoy. His inclusion grounds the story and gives it a bit of a "temporal anchor" of sorts.

Terminator? We'll have to see. It could just be a "shoot first, tell story later" kind of movie (like most of them have been).
