Today I learned UL code 508. It was nearly 2 days of coursework in one day.

I think I like work more than school. I am getting old. My brain is less spongy.

Today I learned that it is insanely expensive to make really nice Cocker frames.

Oof. Any operations in particular or just all of it being a bit more refined and adding up?

Today, I got my Iron Ring. They're polishing these things now, WOW they're shiny. Now, to just not fuck up these two classes... and maybe find a job.

Wearing a ring is weird.... I guess it's already serving its purpose.

Great! Now that you've got enclosures down, it's time to move on to UL 698 for NEMA 7 panels. I know plenty of companies that won't require 508 and 698 panels, but in my experience following the standards always leads to better design. It's a must for my projects.

Welcome to the Order! I always enjoy working with Canadians, as the domestic engineers always look at me squirrelly and don't understand why I'm wearing a pinky ring.

    SA1.1 FTW! Ha.

I don't do a lot of work on Nema 7, or even 4X with this new job - mostly Type 1. Even for the nuke stuff. I guess people found out how to work inside around things that don't go boom, or something.
