Machinist needed - willing to work for cheap and fast

LOL I know this is the dumbest thing you've read, (I feel dumb posting this..) but basically, my University Formula Hybrid team got screwed by the local machinist - we've got a LOT of stuff needing done, but unfortunately we can't pay shop rate.

Basically, we need stuff machined out of 7075 ASAP. It's high tolerance stuff. Uprights and other drive-train components.

Lemme know if you know someone or are this someone.

I can't do a rush job, sorry. But I can quote you for things in the future. We make parts for the UofM build teams, including upgrights, rims, crown gears, entire CVT transmissions from billet, etc.

Be careful now, it almost sounds like you're asking for something very quick and very cheap. You know what that means

    Andy,

I'll get the details from/to you. Sadly, yea, we're looking for fast cheap and good. I know, I know. But our structural lead was kind of having a meltdown so I figured maybe someone here knew someone.

I had a contact for some stuff. Mostly mill work or lathe?

He has a couple mills and takes side work from his day job. Should be quick, over the weekend work.

I've also used Steelwright before - He may or may not be able to get you what you need in time but he's an old school guy and does quality work for a fair price
    "So you've done this before?"
"Oh, hell no. But I think it's gonna work."
