Anyone ever have this happen at their field?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4VAFg5ifNI

The "this" from the subject line is shown in the video on the page URL above.

Heard a few reports it was a commercial smoke grenade made for paintball. The poster of the video said to always use cold burning smoke grenades but I heard from people it was. Then again she was there and I was not.

Was that a freak thing or has anyone seen anything like that from a manufactured product from a reputable company during a game?

Lol, kick the flaming item closer to the pile of dry brush!

    Issue starts here (0:43)

sidenote: smoke is pointless and dumb.
social conservatism: the mortal fear that someone, somewhere, might be having fun.

Not true. It tells you where the other team is going to make a push, and thus, where to lay down a field of fire.

As a sniper, I've been considering setup up trip wire lines at a significant distance, to give myself warning and concealment should some approach my position from a flank.

As a side note, my squad was made up of a local team, Team Revenants, myself, a first timer I brought to the game, and a guy with German parents named Onno. Most of Team Revenants are fire fighters. At the game we had fire fighters, a paramedic and a nurse. So you know, there could be worse teams to have a fire with. For the record it was the other team that threw that grenade. I did not mention to the first timer that smoke grenades were available and possibly will be used in the game. She got caught in the smoke but was OK.

Viper's Scenarios do as long as the trip wires were breakable.
