Last I saw, only 400 Pre-regs for the event, which for an inaugural event probably isn't bad at all, but I assume they were expecting 1000+
Ok this thing is next weekend.
I'll be driving down Saturday morning real early, probably come home Saturday night.
I havent chosen a team yet, anyone going ?
Lets meet and play on the same team.

2 hour drive for nothing.
The whole place is under 6 inches of water.
I will never pre pay for an event like this again.
I feel bad for people that flew into this event.

I think the first couple Living Legends games were really light on attendance, too. I've got some pictures from the final battle at either 1 or 2 that looks like there's nobody there. Assuming they're committed to doing more of these, they'll get more people to show up.
Shame about the rain, but that's one of those "can't control it" things. Remember Legends a year or two ago where it was 34 degrees and pouring all weekend?
the first living legends had around 600 people total.
social conservatism: the mortal fear that someone, somewhere, might be having fun.
Personally I prefered living legends with less people...
Agreed. These days, it's "how far can you get into a cloud of paint?". Not nearly as much fun.
Talked to a guy today that played.
He said the water was a foot deep in a lot of places.
And about 650 played in it.
I'm hoping if there is a next year it will be held in dry season.
