    Definitely looks fun to goof around on. But, I don't really see it being worth much more than that.

    For $4,000 I could build something that would be much more utilitarian, however I admit the tolerances would likely be much more suspect.

    It's cute!

    While it looks fun, I wonder how functional it will really be for the money. 5 axis is awesome, and I swear by it on my machine, but for someone starting out, I think a better machine and doing multiple set ups would get you far more versatility and better parts.

    For this money I'd still rather just go with a 3D printer.
