    Axe Me Again ?

I have had a Kryptonite Axe for some time now, got rid of the LV1's and kept it. (still like PE stuff but the Axe is just hard to beat in performance)

Then came the Ripper and I wanted one of those, but 300 was more than I could make myself cough up seeing another decent used Axe would be as much.

Then I noticed the local shop, Wicked Sports, has had price reductions on all their Inception Axe bodies.

    http://www.wickedsports.com/c-227-marker-body.aspx

So I began watching for a nice Axe again and found a like brand new LE Pro for a really great price.

They had 3 different finishes of rippers but none of them looked as good as the satin black.

    The brothers...

Ok so thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

    Got Axe ?

Man, I love my Mini too much to go for an Axe, but I could REALLY use a Relay.

Thanks, it was hard to choose which body looking at all they have in stock

They have an FLE that's a close match to the finish on the Axe but, I don't care for that style, and ultimately I have wanted a ripper since I first saw them.

Played with this one all day saturday.

    Had some trouble chrono'ing it.

The reg was slightly over 220 so I turned it down to 180 like I run my Kryptonite Axe.

No matter how much I turned the bolt adjustment I couldnt get it up to 280 and I had to turn the reg back up to 200 to get it in chrono.

Wonder why the difference in reg psi from one gun to the other ?

Using the same SLP reg on both......

    Well hmmm.

Those micro gauges are appallingly inaccurate and inconsistent from one to another. I pretty much just ignore them other than as a rough guide and just set the gun up to shoot well.

Put another gauge on it, still has to run at 240 or I can't get it up to 280.

    Weird stuff.

The black Axe does fine at 200.

    But does it shoot well?

Also, is it another micro gauge? Or a decent one?

Same Empire small gauge, shoots fine, but hesitates to shoot for 5 or 6 trigger pulls.
