I guess most of you have seen the Automag gas thru frame he's working on.

Looks like theres an Automag resurgence going on under the radar....
What say you ?

Who doesn't have multiple Ninjas with different psi output ?
I get 1k of paint off the Xvalve'd Evo I built, about the same with the CS1.
Both will take a standard output reg.
I'm not wanting to shoot more than half case in one game.....
What's the diff ?

It seems like a weird requirement for a marker that the original HPA tanks were designed from and for to have to run a tank that has an output pressure that is modified lower to work on some other markers that don't work well with the original specs.

It's not everyone but TK's fault the original specs were poorly designed. With an output of 1100 psi the tank output starts dipping at 3/4 discharge (as opposed to 7/8 with 550 psi output). And 1100 psi through macro is just silly.
AGD doesn't have the following to pull an Apple and blame users for failing to adopt esoteric standards. If they want the mag to grow they'll have to get with the times.

No, original output was about 850 (adjustable up and down a good bit). It matched CO2 as the drop in. You might as well blame CO2 for running at that pressure.
Mags run fine at 850. The RT runs better at 1100, so they wanted the SHO.
They all run better on nitrogen than HPA anyways. :P

1100psi? What you talking about? Mags run fine at 800psi. Only idiots and assholes throw on the SHP regs and get the uncontrollable bmRT guns.
I can not say that they were designed poorly. Yes advances in the tech can lower input and operating preasures. More efficient, easier to use, but for what the are chastised for, there has not been 1 other pooorly designed gun that has left such a huge foot print for paintball. A properly setup L10, will not chop. It can keep up with any other electro. What more do yoj want?
That being resolved, I had CADed up a very similar design. The fun part: Using a Pneu-trigger eliminates RT affect, and makes the marker faster. Which means it can be mounted to the used in the Mech Division now.
