2% of the country currently has covid 19, (6 million current cases), 3,200 people died of it yesterday.

that means it can get 50 times worse.

prediction: we will be above a 9/11/01 a day, unti February.

It will probably get worse, but it can?t get 50x worse if you account for the way disease transmission works.

Ever so many citizens of this republic think they ought to believe that the Universe is a monarchy, and therefore they are always at odds with the republic. -Alan Watts

Well, on one hand, you have trump & his government doing absolutely nothing to stem the tide. Worrying more about the election he lost than the thousands of people who are dying, daily. On the other hand, you have all the various state governors & officials that are politicizing social distancing and mask wearing, still. Add in a dash of people thinking that the vaccines are cures, compounded by the lack of legitimizing the Biden admin who is trying to stop the spread, in order to have the hospitals and medical staffs be ready to handle the vaccination process. Jan 20, can't come sooner.

Its a loyalty test, plain and simple. Either sign on to get inline with trump brand party politics or your a "RINO" and will get full force of trump's wraith on tweeter.

Just look at the facts of the case. Wi, Ga, Pa, Mi all did nothing differently than what texas had done. So why would that be against the law? The states have a right to conduct elections however they want, and have done so since admittance into the union. Not to mention that why is it just in those states and not widespread into other states? Not only that, but the state and federal charges against Paxton himself make the lawsuit worthless on face value.

And literally as i write this, the SCOTUS rejected the texas bid, so it is a moot point. As CNN says, it is a slap in the face of trump and Republicans.

So, let trump destroy the GOP. Let them stew in swimming in the garbage that is trump, let them blame everything else but themselves and they will be looking in towards all that they lost.

Unfortunately, the Democrats need a foil. As the republican party degenerates and goes down in flames, the democrats will follow suit shortly thereafter.

The absence of intellectually coherent opposition for the last 20 years has already damaged the party.

True, there are those republicans that broke with trump. As the time goes on, and trump is embroiled in his lawsuits after leaving office and his tendrils recoil back from the party, i do see more Republicans regrowing a spine and shedding trumpism.

That or the republican party will wither & die and something else will come up, just as the federalist or the whig parties died in the 19th century

dem are gonna split, if the GOP dies. "moderate dems" are already the conservative party, and equal in basically all policy positions with 70-90s republicans. and an actual liberal party will probably form.

    assuming the GOP dies.
