this is the list of never trumpers i have been listening to:

    evan mcmullin
    bill kristol
    rick wilson
    john Schindler
    charile sykes

while i disagree with them politically, you have to give them credit on seeing the trump disaster a mile away and seeing how bad it would be for anyone who got involved. and how bad it would be for the country. and there own party. and thus also the ideals of conservatism.

not that trump was ever a conservative, lol.

I'd take Schindler with a grain of salt. He seems to fall into the Louise Mensch category of conspiracy theorists at times. You might want to follow Tom Nichols as well and definitely Max Boot.

i loved this tweet by bill kristol:

"The GOP tax bill's bringing out my inner socialist. The sex scandals are bringing out my inner feminist. Donald Trump and Roy Moore are bringing out my inner liberal.
    WHAT IS HAPPENING?"

at some point, being a human being is more important than political wins. maybe that is the rock on which we can all agree to rebuild this country on after trump.

sorry, i don't know how to interact with someone who voted for someone who mocks the disabled, attacks gold star family's, attacks POWs, openly brags about sexually assaulting women ... and then doesn't want to be called an asshole.

no really, at some point human decency must count for something. i honestly do not believe one can be a decent human being, and support donald trump, regardless of political leanings. since the rise of trump, i have to say i've respected the never trump republicans more and more, they may still be wrong, but at least i can respect them as people.
And Hillary is a better human being?

    You are clueless.

I am confident that Hillary Clinton, despite all her flaws, was an objectively better person than Donald Trump and would have been an objectively better President. If we were talking about Kaisch or Romney, the debate would obviously be different

If you can seriously entertain the idea that Hillary Clinton is on the same level as Donald Trump, you got suckered hard.
    I don't know, fly casual

    QFT

Hillary was/is far from perfect. but compared to shit stain of humanity that is trump, there is no comparison.

the level that trump has found to weaponize his stupidity, is just, unimaginable. and its not like we didn't see this coming, its not like trump was concealing his utter lack of competence, intelligence or morality, it was all there, the whole time.

irony: do you regret your vote for trump?

I had a long response typed up, but I'll say "yes" and also that even at the time I couldn't stand Trump. The short version is I didn't think he'd actually try or be able to do much harm in his first term. It was not a vote against Hillary either. But yeah, now I just want to survive long enough to get that joker out of there.
