Interesting that a majority of republicans didn't even support the repeal.

if they want to do something about it, they can pass a law insuring it.

    but they won't.

I believe they'll be under so much pressure from their constituents they'll have no choice (strategically).

It's not about the issue at hand, it's about power. On such a polarizing and well-publicized topic, the risk is bigger than the individual legislation.

republicans arn't scared for a second about 2018.

they know that there is little if any chance of them losing power in 2018. they have the house gerrymadered to the hilt, and a very friendly senate map. they have nothing to worry about. it would truly take the american poeple voting in droves to end that, and they won't. 68% of white people voted for roy moore, they have NOTHING to worry about.

Campaign funding, and knowing that a majority of their voting support literally think Democrats are satan, will likely Trump even a well-publicized issue.

    yup

look at the tax bill, even among republican voters its hugely unpopular. they are still gonna shove it down our throats.

    they don't care.

hell they even said it when they were trying to pass the bill, in there own words, our donors want this, and we have to give it to them.
