    Generic Paintball Engineering Thread

I keep running across useful resources for paintball engineering info and wanting a place to drop it as a repository on here, so I figured I'd start a thread.

Just to get the list going, and give people a flavor of what I'm talking about; this post is not comprehensive and I don't really have time right now to flush it out but I figure it's a start. I'll add things as I think of them and come across stuff.

Here's the link to the Parker Hannifin O-ring guide: https://www.parker.com/literature/OR...g_Handbook.pdf

And I've at times had alternating luck between McMaster-Carr and Grainger, so here's the link to Grainger: https://www.grainger.com/

Are there any open source modern paintball guns with full cad available? As in, the whole marker with everything, preferably including barrel etc. such that it could be manufactured and function without modification, but it's open source, so...

I'm sure there are some old school guns in this vein, but a modern drivetrain would be even better.

In my case I'd use it mostly to experiment with aesthetics, but I'm sure it would be useful for all sorts of things.

I doubt anyone would give away the whole thing. That's a lot of invested time and money to just give away for free.

It does seem possible someone might make select components available, though.
