Why'd you go to dual piston o-rings? Concentricity issues?

Also, I'm not sure I'm looking at the on/off correctly... is it not independent of the regulator?

That trumped me for a bit: Part 18 is moved by part 20. There is a ramp on part 18, that pushes part 22 to depress the tank pin. Rather clever actually.

It is such a pain in the butt to design a tank pin depressing system.

(edit): Part 18 slides through part 23.

Yes, I see that. What I'm curious about is the interface between part 15 and 17. 17 doesn't appear to be locked in place, and 15 is the housing for the floating poppet if I'm looking at this correctly.

Yes and Yes - as far as I can tell.

#17 has a slot in the bottom and is locked in place by #18, #18 has a "cam" wedge that pushed #22 to open the tank.

Part 18 slides through part 17. Part 15 and 17 will be combined in future units.

The on off is before the air gets to the regulator.

The piston has dual rings because that's the design that comes from the guy that originaly made the forebearer to this and he still makes the regs and is adamant that it's important.

17 not 23? Yes - sorry, been a while since I tore one apart.

Ah. I was wondering if you had used 17 to move 15 and ensure the reg degasses when you flip the lever to "off". Does it ever have trouble degassing? (Don't own an axe myself)
