Posts going to moderation queue

so do you need 5 posts to start a thread? I just tried to start one and it to went to the mod queue also

I think it's just the anti-spam stuff. Until it knows you are contributing member, it flags posts with images and links in them. I'll find your posts and get them visible for all.

bah, it happened again. Do you need X number of posts to be a contributing member?

I think it gets better after 15 or so.
