what software you use?
Was a little bored today so I took about an hour and a half and came up with this:
I call it Weapon X (after Deadpool if you're a Marvel fan)
Really simple body design, would be a spool, no details like eyes or screws or anything though. Front part near the reg needs work to slim it down, she's a little husky up front.
Just figured I'd post.
Tip to tail she's right at 7 inches, total height about 2.5 inches. No idea if any drive train would work with it, just thought I'd take a little time to do some body design on something interesting.
With the red/black Deadpool coloring:
Polished:
I'm using Autodesk Inventor. I have the student version so the serial doesn't run out. I lost my access to Solidworks when I graduated.

Thought I recognized it! I do the same thing. I'm sure I could get Solidworks thru my school somehow.. but since inventor is free already...
I just picked some numbers. Main bore's .7 with an A/C threaded breach. Any dimensions that are critical? I could see if they'd work.
I could always use the basic idea and actually design something that'd work too.

But the Aedes was 2 bore stacked tube...
That marker Colin had on display a year or two ago probably would. I wouldn't be surprised if the guts were an evolution of the aedes.
Like I said, bore was more of an afterthought. Just figured I'd see if I could make a good looking body and go from there.
