Is it just me or dose the Barrel thread area look Thin.
Nice Looking Body. Mec, auto, or pump?
Hello there...I have a small project I would very much like to finish, it's quite a way from being done but I figured here would be the best place to start.
I recently got this body:
...which is still fairly rough and needs to be polished and finished up a bit, but the other problem is that it has no matching front/back blocks to go with it.
I was wondering if maybe Simon or someone else with some decent CAD knowledge could make me a set of matching blocks to go with this beauty. It also needs to have the hammer lug hole drilled through the top tube which shouldn't be too difficult ;-)
once I have that done it's all heading to FX Anodizing for a fancy color...

Whoa, a raw Wraith! I'm jealous
I can't remember his name but the guy over at Acid Customs has done Eclipse backblocks for some of the guys on CustomCockers.
John Huxham is the guy from ACID, I have loved his work ever since he did the red ACID cocker years ago...but I'm trying to not have to ship it to Australia...
The barrel thread area is thin, I wouldn't like to fall on this one. I have another body that belongs to Dan Bacci that was a mill mistake where it cut through the barrel area and valve chamber but was JB Welded back together. This one is going to be a mechanical I think...probably want to put an eclipse hinge on it or maybe a Jackal that I have...or maybe a very nice milled out benchmark.....hmm.
blocks first though!
I might be able to help you with this. Let me ask around.
BigEvilOnline.com - Home of the bad, bad automag people.
PM me I may be able to help with the CAD end of stuff.
Ive design the Ripper Automag, Phoenix Automag, Shockwave Automag. As well as other things.
I would need you to send the body to get the correct dimensions and such.

Looks like a cool project, I bet Keith can get you hooked up nicely. I look forward to seeing it when it's done
I think I'm safe to assume that Scott brought Keith here...heh
I'll send you a message and we can go from there I assume Thanks guys! I'll keep this updated as the (probably slow) progress occurs.
Pm replied to. But yes Scott steered me to this thread yesterday. I honestly dont check this forum as often as I should.
